Issues of Power

Though the MPro110 comes with a built-in battery, you can also hook up an external DC adapter for juice. Of course, the external adapter also charges the internal battery.

The built-in battery is removable, and the one that comes in the box is rated for 1050mAh at 3.7V. When in constant use, you can expect to get about 40-45 minutes of use out of a full charge.
Not quite related to power, but do note the threaded hole right above the battery slot; that’s where you can attach a tripod to hold the MPro110 off the ground when in use. You don’t get one in the box, but a small, cheap tripod shouldn’t cost you any more than S$10-S$20.

While fiddling about with the battery of the MPro110, I realized that the battery for my Panasonic Lumix LX3 was the exact same size and shape, as well as being the exact same voltage rating. I also have a cheap, compatible battery for my LX3 (which cost about S$30); the one you see above rated at 2500mAh. What this means is that you can easily pick up a spare battery for your MPro110 without spending too much money; useful for situations when you need the power and can’t find a power socket.
